Organic Vanilla CO2 Extract 26% produced via CO2 Extraction method is a highly concentrated, pure & natural Vanilla Extract. Please note that the CO2 Extract is a much more concentrated product in flavor and fragrance compared to cheaper alternatives of Vanilla Extract (produced as an alcohol extract).
Our Organic Vanilla CO2 Extract, 26% Vanillin is much more potent compared to traditional alcohol extractions, and yields a delectable flavor & aroma profile. Vanilla contains over 250 flavor components and it's CO2 Extract is quite potent in botanical perfumery and in creative kitchen delicacies.
This very precious & costly extract is a labor of love which requires all Vanilla flowers to be hand pollenated to collect Vanilla pods. These pods are then fermented for an extended period and split to collect the lightweight vanilla beans.  For our CO2 Extract of 26% Vanilla it takes 16-18 kilograms of raw Vanilla Beans to produce 1 kilogram of extract - this is a labor of love!
The cost of Vanilla has significantly increased over recent years: increased demand, environmental destruction of habitant leading to lost harvests. One gram will go very far for culinary and aromatic experimentation. A little bit goes a long way!
