Long used in cultures around the world, as an ingredient for teas, candies, and herbal formulations, Licorice is known to help guide other herbs to increase a formula’s potency. Licorice is considered a cornerstone in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is well noted for its digestive, expectorant qualities.

Our Ultrasonic Licorice Tincture is a great ally for the medicine cabinet, I pair it with Digestif tincture if my stomach feels off, or if I am concerned of food poisoning. Dr. Bryan Ardis literature review suggests certain compounds in Licorice Root (ie. glycyrrhizic acid) may help the body break down certain blood clots! Licorice can be paired with other soothing herbs to support upset stomach, bloating or even heartburn. This is a great tincture to cycle usage in your tea ceremonies every few days for it’s medicinal qualities.

How to Use

We find for our Ultrasonic Extract Tinctures, sublingual (under the tongue) absorption held for 30-60 seconds, leads to better subjective absorption / effects.

Here’s How We In-Joy Ultrasonic Licorice Tincture:

• ¼ dropper to 1 dropperful used to promote digestive support or hormonal balancing. Consider consulting with a physician or licensed professional if you have any hormonal condition and are considering using Licorice.
• Infuse ¼ – 1 dropperful into a warm cup of herbal tea or infuse into water to drink. Try adding with honey or your favorite natural sweetener to enhance the flavor and effects of other herbs.
• Combine with other immune supporting Ultrasonic Tinctures (ie. Cat’s Claw, Pau D’ Arco) for synergistic qualities
