Dr. Nick Notes
Distilled lime essential oil is unlike what one may expect from a lime extract – it's a sweet green top note. Being so light, the fragrance dissipates quickly. One of my joys is to place lime essence into my finger tips and spread it throughout the environment through a process called dynamic diffusion. By snapping the fingers and moving the hands around your the room in an orderly fashion, a room (especially) or environment will light up with a cleansing fragrance.
Using an Essential VAAAPP, you will experience smiles: increased clarity, delicious candy flavor and a slight puckering. Try blending this oil to sweeten a blend, making it more light & etheric in botanical perfumery. This essence of lime has been suggested for use in foods, beverages at a maximum of 0.078% (reference below). Ingesting small amounts of lime may be helpful in reducing symptoms & the healing of heartburn (reference below).
How to Use
Infuse small amounts into foods/beverages for an element of sweet dessert lime. Add a single drop to an Essential VAAAPP vaporizer for tropical enjoyment. Dynamic diffusion – infuse several drops into the finger tips, snap the fingers together and wave them around a room to lighten the room. Experiment in botanical perfumery. Highly enjoyed in a diffuser in the home-space.
Precautions
May cause skin irritation. Expressed lime oil may cause photosensitization in direct sunlight – please note our distilled lime oil is reported to be non-irritating, non-sensitizing and non-phototoxic.

Wonderful!

I really dig this Lime oil. It’s got such a rich, refreshing, exciting aroma to it. I’ve been sharing it everyone I know, just letting them take a smell and everyone is loving it. It’s like being reminded of (or awoken for some people) an entire color, a whole dimension of life that has been dormant.

Wow – distilled lime! I’ve only tried cold pressed, which is the typical process for making citrus essential oils. This distilled lime is truly something else – the aromatics are significantly different from cold pressed, in a beautiful way! It has a delicious “bursting” citrus aroma, and a sweetness atypical for many citrus oils I’ve tried. We used it to craft some limited edition chocolate bars for our subscription boxes over at http://www.endorfinfoods.com – and would highly recommend this oil for any and all other applications.
