Aromatic Scent: Warm, woody, sweet-balsamic with a mild camphoraceous note. Himalayan Cedar yields a soft and more feminine expression of Cedar.
How to Use
- May apply neat or combine with carrier oils. Topical use can cause irritation in some individuals and it is HIGHLY recommended to skin test your compatibility of cedar oil use before using this oil topically.
- Wonderful oil to appreciate in a vaporizer, very relaxing!
- Okay to place directly on warts.

Comparing all of my cedarwood oils, Himalayan & Atlas are my two favorites. This pure essential oil carries a full spectrum of information which spells out a sweet masculine scent, with smooth grounding base notes of a very elevated quality. Himalayan Cedar is quite attractive as a single oil as use for a daily cologne or perfume for both men and women.
To use Himalayan Cedarwood Oil, I take one drop and apply it neat on my neck & chest and rub it around my aura. Sometimes I place a drop in between my third eye before meditation or a grounding intention. Vaporized into the lungs, the oil is very calming – grounding yet expansive. The fragrance of Himalayan Cedarwood oil provides a soft gentle masculine strength and groundedness, think true compassionate Fatherly Love.
Some of my favorite oil combinations with cedar include Royal Sandalwood & Blood Orange – the combination of these three oils in a VAAAPP vaporizer are a REMARKABLE entry to heaven, available as the Cosmic Orgasm through our website. Cosmic Orgasm was crafted in Peru on New Year (2012) when a room full of individuals including myself passed around the trio combination (Sandalwood, Cedar, Blood Orange) for a half hour each taking about 1 minute to enjoy this heavenly blend through a vaporizer. This etheric & tasty experience was an aromatic orgasm in our mouth’s while grounding in our focus, expanding our consciousness and calming our nervous system.
I have some experience with Himalayan Cedarwood Essential Oil applied directly on warts and it seems to work on safely & easily dissolving them over 1-2 weeks – at my time of treatment, I was inconsistent with my application, but I imagine that if I used the oil 2-3 times daily for four weeks, the oil would permanently remove any warts I have on my foot (at some point, the wart completely resolved). I did have success with dissolving three warts on the bottom of my foot after approximately six weeks, using passively without regular diligence.
One source recommends to avoid use of this Himalayan Cedarwood Oil in pregnancy. Quite interesting that the Egyptians included cedarwood in the embalming process.

This scent caught me by grand surprise. I have truly never in my life smelled Cedar in a form like this. This is a VERY grounding oil, yet at the same time there is an Ascension-Like Elevation that occurs with this Oil. It is truly Heavenly in every way. This is a VERY sacred wood, you can feel it in your spirit, and your body will respond to it as well. It’s a very grounding scent but it has a very unique sweet/floral aspect to it as well that compliments the deep earthy notes. I wasn’t expecting this. It’s fantastic.
