Suggested Uses
Jasminum grandiflorum is the more common varietal of Jasmine flowers that people would recognize as jasmine (vs. Jasminum sambac). We offer our Jasmine grandiflorum as a Pure Extract OR Anointing Blend, blended in carrier oil enhanced with ormus. The intention of the Anointing Blend is to create a powerful Jasmine blend, lower the cost of this rare/precious/exotic extract and make it available for more people. The anointing blend is very balanced and powerful - most people's senses wouldn't know this was diluted into a carrier oil. The minerals found inside the anointing blends also seem to enhance the potency, longevity of the fragrance onto the skin.
Our Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute extract Pure OR infused into Fractionated Coconut Oil enhanced with Ormus extracted from Dead Sea / Celtic Sea Salts can be worn directly on the skin, infused into the bath tub, dripped onto wax candles, added into massage oils and creatively shared with friends.

Dr. Nick's Notes
Jasmine grandiflorum, also known as day-blooming Jasmine or Spanish Jasmine brings euphoria and grace to heavy times and deeper levels of connection to the divine during meditation and intentional moments. Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute has many layers of beauty balancing sweet, inviting wafts with earth tones and delicate spice. As an ingredient for botanical perfumery, this jasmine is exquisite and aids to build a solid perfume and healing fragrance. Very powerful for opening up the heart, releasing episodes of shock, reaching new layers of emotional surrender and connecting to source ~ Jasmine Absolute is phenomenal to keep in the cabinet with the other essential oils! This would be a powerful ally during emotional outbreak, PMS or onset of mild depression.
To enhance with sensuality, try combining with cacao or sandalwood and rubbing around the body (experience Sensurotic!). Incredible worn over the heart as a morning ritual to uplift the senses and elevate the baseline mood into one of grounded ecstasy. Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute seems to be wonderful for women as a soothing floral note that seems to beautify the skin through daily topical use.
FAQs
Jasminum grandiflorum (Spanish or Royal Jasmine) and Jasminum sambac (Arabian Jasmine) are two distinct jasmine species with meaningfully different aromatic profiles. Grandiflorum tends to be more complex, slightly green and waxy, with a deep rich floral character. Sambac is more intensely sweet, honeyed, and tropical. Dr. Nick describes Grandiflorum to be more heart-centered and characteristic of the Jasmine aroma most are accustomed to, while Sambac is more sensual, sexy and tantalizing to the senses. Both are absolutes (solvent-extracted), and are prized in perfumery, but they are used for different aromatic and intentional purposes. EOW carries both as separate products.
Jasminum grandiflorum is primarily grown in India, France, Egypt, and Morocco. The origin significantly affects the aromatic character of the absolute. Indian grandiflorum tends to be richer and more intensely floral, while Egyptian and Moroccan grandiflorum may have more green and waxy nuances. French grandiflorum (Grasse region) is considered a benchmark for quality in fine fragrance but is extremely rare and expensive. EOW sources for aromatic vitality and quality above all else, and generally is sourced from Egypt or India.
Grandiflorum Absolute is used primarily in natural perfumery as a rich floral heart note, in personal aromatic blends for emotional and heart-centered work, and as a luxury addition to skincare formulations. Its complexity makes it particularly well-suited for sophisticated floral, oriental, and green floral compositions. Because it is an absolute, it has excellent longevity and substantivity on the skin.
Yes, when used at appropriate dilutions. The International Fragrance Association recommends a maximum dermal dilution for jasmine absolutes, typically around 0.7 percent for leave-on products, due to the small sensitization risk with repeated use. For most adults using it in personal aromatic or perfumery applications at low concentrations, it is very well tolerated. Avoid use during pregnancy.
EOW carries Jasmine Sambac Absolute, Jasmine Auriculatum Absolute, Jasmine Flexile Absolute, Jasmine Super, Jasmine Wax, and Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute as distinct products, each capturing a different facet of the jasmine botanical family. For those wanting to explore jasmine more deeply, these products collectively offer a masterclass in how different species, origins, and extraction methods shape the aromatic outcome. Jasmine Super is Dr. Nick's synergy expression of all four jasmine species combined to make a full-spectrum Jasmine blend.
