Dr. Nick Notes
Organic hydro-distilled Lemon oil from S. Africa was one of the oils in my first set of therapeutic essential oils I ever purchased. The scent uplifts your nose, cleanses an environment and freshens clothing (try infusing into a dryer sheet). My first experiments using lemon essential oil were through vaporization & infusing into beverages. What I noticed with vaporization is a special overwhelming jolt of lemon zest ringing the internal body, clearing the throat and saturating the senses. There also seems to be a mild expectorant property, especially focused on thinning the mucus.
Lemon essential oil is super special in foods, salad dressings, soup and drinks. Also really enjoyable is infused into club soda, especially with natural salt added and a sprig of rosemary. Drinking this beverage in the morning seems to help flush the system and purify the liver. Lemon oil seems to counteract stomach acidity and speed up a slow digestive system. The limonene naturally found in lemon essential oil works well with acne – try making a night-time toner using 1-2 ounces of water with a few drops of lemon EO. This oil also has interesting cleaning ability and can really treat leather, moisturizing it and bringing back a fresh organic shine - the applications are truly endless for this essence!
How to Use
Infuse a paper towel with lemon oil into your clothing drawer for super fresh clothes! Add to water, alcohol with some tea tree and alcohol for an effective room disinfectant. Wipe away dirt, filth and clean your dishes with the added power of lemon essence - Add to your sponge when cleaning the kitchen ~ anti-infective and very cleansing. Use small amounts to your facial cleanser for added effectiveness to assist with acne and overzealous pores.
Consider use for mild-moderate topical infections: 2 ounces water 4 drops of lemon & 1 drop of helichrysum. Try vaporizing one drop using an essential VAAAPP vaporizers for the mild expectorant properties. Add peppermint and lemon essences into water to produce a natural mouthwash. Great to flush the liver in the morning, a wonderful way to fire the digestive system: add 3 drops to 8 ounces of water adding a pinch of natural salt.
May cause skin irritation. Expressed lemon oil may cause photosensitization in direct sunlight – please note our distilled lemon oil has less risk for sunburn than cold-pressed/expressed lemon oil.

Best smelling and tasting lemon oil I have ever had the delight to experience! I love to infuse a drop or 2 in water for a super delicious drink! Also tastes really magical in water with a drop of frankinscence sacra. The frankinscence and lemon water is my favorite essential oils to add to water on occasion. It also blends super well with a lot of different oils in the diffuser. Will freshen up anything you add this oil too :). I love you Dr Nick thank you for all that you do brother. I have plenty more reviews coming to you.
