In 2025, my wife and I took a trip to Thailand and we were fortunate enough to find a family who grows, processes and extracts beautiful flowers and medicinal herbs. Our Thai friends produce some epic, potent therapeutic & recreational resins which I love dearly. After a year of experimentation, I wanted to share some of my favorite combinations with our community. In collaboration with my friends, they have agreed to produce unique resins using my tested ratios to share through Essential Oil Wizardry.

Euphoria Resin is my first Synergy Resin crafted to my specified concentrations of Blue Lotus – Damiana – Kanna ready for you to explore in the perfect ratio. The effects of our resins (at the right dose for you) are more than subtle. Our Euphoria Resin is actually quite potent, and should be used consciously with regards to set, setting and dosage.

Why combine these plants into a concentrated resin?

The Blue Lotus Resin has a nice “drop you into the present moment” vibe, which brings you into a highly aware, meditative space within minutes. Our Kanna Resin is a very potent euphoriant which triggers physical sensations of bliss, euphoria and floatiness. In my experience, Kanna is like a more gentle, botanical version, of a shorter-acting “Ecstasy”, with milder heart opening qualities. Damiana is very sensual and playful with warming, pleasurable sensations in the body.  I also find with Damiana to receive creative insights, have enhanced color spectrum (warmer colors) and clarity of mind.

The synergy of these three botanicals combined is blissful heaven, very potent party euphoriant, yet more gentle on the body / mind / spirit than using recreational drugs. Blue Lotus and Damiana help to clear the mind and put the mental state in a state of presence and clarity. Damiana and Kanna really bring a powerful euphoric bliss into the experience, which is felt in the physical body as tingling pleasure, warmth and lightness. Euphoria Resin is short-acting and lasts between 1-2 hours, and can be redosed to extend the effects.

I do have a mild hangover when using a recreational party dose of Euphoria Resin. The hangover seems more mild, gentle and less toxic than alcohol, and typically only lasts for an hour or two upon waking. 99+% of our product offerings have virtually no hangover effects – Euphoria Resin may have a mild hangover, yet would be a superior substitute to most recreational drugs with less toxicity and a memorable intensity & effect!  Most typically I will experience a hangover if used at larger or repeated doses throughout a social event & late evening.

I cannot recommend the appropriate dose for everybody; In the words of my Thai friends – start low and go slow.  I’ve found a grain of rice to be a nice starting dosage, and have found a pea sized amount to offer a nice buzzy euphoria that lights me up for party purposes. When I enjoy Euphoria Resin, my mind becomes non-linear, stress melts away & I catch a moderate floaty buzz which is quite pleasant.  For my body, I sometimes get a bit stimulated when taken right before bedtime – some people may find it a bit more challenging to rest when taking Wild Dagga Resin 1-2 hours before sleep, while others may get more restful sleep.  Experiment to discover how Wild Dagga affects you on the evening before a more spacious day, rather than using for the first time the evening before an early and demanding day.

Each gram of this Euphoria Resin goes a long way, and should be treasured/respected. This is an ultra-concentrated resin taking approximately 100 grams of the combination of these three plants concentrated into each gram of resin, also known as 100x Extract. I have only experienced this ingested directly, though it may be interesting infused into elixirs, tea, cacao or added into water. I have yet to vaporize this material, but I may try this sometime to see the effect – I expect this to be a powerful experience and may be more alike to cannabis!

Addictive Potential & Responsible Usage

I find Euphoria Resin to be nearing potency and intensity of recreational drugs, though more short-acting and graceful on the body.  In my unique personal experience having a positive relationship with myself, and not using too frequently, I have not had issues with any craving for Euphoria Resin. It’s a great practice not to create a habit of getting altered if there is a fundamental issue one needs to clear. My rule of thumb is I don’t use powerful mind-altering herbs or substances for extended periods of time, if I’m feeling sad / depressed. I find having a clear foundation is best for exploring my body & consciousness.

While I’ve only used a Euphoria Resin about a dozen times to date, I would suggest this extract to only be used 1-3x/week minimizing risk for dependency. You may adjust your usage based on your own body-mind needs, and social / recreational desires.
