Dr. Nick Notes
Spearmint essential oil is therapeutically effective similar to peppermint yet milder. It is great for sensitive people in which menthol present in peppermint is too strong (ie. children). Â The perennial herb is native to the Mediterranean region and has been used therapeutically for hundreds of years in foods with meals and as a steeped herb in tea.
Spearmint oil has been used to aid in digestive issues, skin problems, and headaches. Energetically uplifting yet soothing to the nervous system. Spearmint essential oil is an extract from a common herb that produces a wonderfully delightful scent. Inexpensive & delightful, spearmint provides a culinary hack in the kitchen to create some next level raw desserts or beverages (ie. AM smoothies).
What I’ve found with Spearmint is including it in blends can really add another sparkle in aromatic depth and can be a perfect ingredient to add more expression while creating in the lab!  Check out our True Bliss for an example of this where Spearmint adds a sweet candied mint top-note (elevating the mandarin, ginger, amber dominate) to the botanical perfume.
How to Use
- Add 1-2 drops to water, juice, tea, or food to aid digestion. Can infuse into a carrier oil at 1.5% essential oil and apply topically to the stomach to help relieve digestive discomfort.
- Add 1-3 drops to a warm bath (let sit for 5 minutes before entering) to relax the mind, calm the nerves and add antiseptic properties.
- Diffused in the office, kitchen or around the house using 1-5 drops helps to cleanse and uplift the environment.
- For use in uplifting aromatherapy blends or as a unique aromatic note adding another dimension of refreshing mint in botanical perfumery.
- Great for use in homemade hygiene products!
- Inhaling the oil through the hands or an essential oil vaporizer may support respiratory issues and stimulate the mind.
- Use diluted in a carrier oil as a natural antiseptic for skin issues.

This oil is really solid. Just a super concentrated, dense, pure aroma of spearmint. Just what I wanted
